My name is Faith Madojutimi, and I am the founder of FlijBeauty.
FlijBeauty was born from a deeply personal journey.
For years, I struggled with stubborn hyperpigmentation and dark spots. Like many people with melanated skin, I tried countless viral and off-the-shelf products, hoping for a solution. Instead of healing my skin, many of these products caused more harm — they were harsh, bleaching, not formulated with melanated skin in mind, or contained steroids that worsened my hyperpigmentation. My skin became irritated, thinned out, and so damaged that visible green veins began to show.
Along with my skin, I lost my confidence. I reached a point where I couldn’t step out without makeup, constantly trying to cover what I felt ashamed of.
Refusing to accept this as my reality, I turned to research.
For over six years, I dedicated myself to understanding skin biology, ingredients, and natural actives that truly support skin health — not quick fixes that compromise it. Through patience, education, and formulation, I finally discovered a way to naturally heal my skin barrier, fade hyperpigmentation gradually, and achieve well-nourished, hydrated, healthy skin — something I once believed was impossible for me.
That transformation changed everything.
